Discord Comment Moderation
Submitted comments and replies are sent to our Discord moderation channel for review. These messages include the comment text, GIFs where present, the author's display name and avatar, comment identifiers, and a link to the comment on the website. The author's email address is not included in the moderation message.
When a moderator uses the application, Discord provides their Discord user ID, role IDs, and display information. We use these details to authorize moderation actions and identify the moderator in the approval, rejection, or pinning confirmation. Authorized moderators can review the channel's messages. Discord processes data sent to its service under its own Privacy Policy.
Retention and Deletion Requests
Account and comment records are retained to provide sign-in, discussion, and moderation while needed for those purposes. Discord moderation messages are separate copies; deleting a website comment does not automatically remove its moderation message from Discord.
To request access, correction, or deletion of your account, comments, or related moderation data, use our contact page. Please identify the account or comment concerned. We may need to confirm that the request comes from its owner before acting on it.
